From the very beginning, I felt like you were not only my realtor who had my best interest in mind, but you were a friend who truly wanted me to be happy in the home that I was going to pick. You were so organized and ready to show me a multitude of homes, from the Cottage home I eventually picked in Hampton Hall, to homes in other neighboring areas. You had everything organized from where we were going from the one home to the last. You allowed me to spend as much time as needed in each of the homes and didn't question my "gut" response to the home. Our family can’t thank you enough for being our trusted advisor, strong advocate, and consistent reassuring voice during the purchase of our dream home, here in the Lowcountry. When we were faced with having to make a life-changing decision whether to purchase an existing home or build new (in a state 800 miles away from where we lived at the time), over the course of a single weekend in the Fall of 2021, you made yourself 100% available to a family you had just met, and treated us like a friend you’d known for years. During that whirlwind weekend, we had to make a decision whether to purchase an existing home or build-new. When touring the model homes and speaking with potential Builders, we knew we could rely on you to provide us with unbiased and fact-based counsel on what to expect and how much things should cost, due to your 20+ years leading a successful Contracting and Construction business. Similarly, when touring existing homes, you were able to quickly give us ideas on how to best tailor or modify space to fit our needs, and when significant changes would need to be made to meet those needs, you were able to immediately give us a realistic idea of how much those changes would cost. Your intimate familiarity with the greater Bluffton area was another valued asset. You took the time to really listen to us when we shared what the most important factors were for us in choosing where we wanted to live here in Town, and were forthright in giving us honest feedback and recommendations on things we needed to be mindful of for each potential home we considered. Your honest opinions were a welcome change from other realtors we’ve worked with in the past, who seem to either not give any opinion at all or tailor their response on what they think the Buyer wants to hear. After we did decide on which home to purchase, you remained by our side throughout the entire closing process, and even stepped in when an issue arose a few days before closing (and leading up to Thanksgiving weekend) where our lender and closing company threw a curve ball at the last minute that could have stopped the transaction altogether. You went to bat to fight for us, serving as an intermediary between the lenders and closing company, to help rectify the internal documentation issues they were claiming to have, and also helped guide us on how to most efficiently execute the steps we needed to take to get them the documentation they needed. We’re now coming up on being in home here in Bluffton for one year, and feel so blessed we get to live in such a beautiful area and vacation destination!
