About Carey

Carey Farmer is an Associate Broker at Group One Sotheby’s International Realty since2002. A graduate of Boise State University, she’s lived in Idaho since 1979 and was a Nuclear Medicine Technologist before her passion for helping people led her on a new path to become a Realtor.  Her intense desire for continued education enabled her to receive numerous real estate designations and to become an associate broker.  

Carey is very involved in her community and has been recognized by many local charities and professional associations as a leader.  She was awarded Realtor of the Year for the Boise Region and for the state of Idaho in 2017.  Carey is a past president of the Boise Regional Realtors, the Junior League of Boise and was an NAR National Director from 2017-2022.  She and her husband, a 20+ year law enforcement veteran, are the proud parents of three boys and they enjoy all that Idaho has to offer.
