About Paula

Paula brings a unique set of skills, knowledge and understanding of client needs to her real estate business in greater Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia. And, she has an exceptional level of business acumen and negotiation skills that are critical when assisting her clients while navigating the real estate transaction. 

These attributes were acquired and enhanced during her 25 years in the wealth management industry as a financial advisor and in the executive ranks. Paula gained valuable insight to the success of hundreds of high performing real estate professionals during her role as Franchise Sales Director with RE/MAX in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. She then assisted several new owners in launching their real estate brokerage offices after obtaining the RE/MAX Broker-Owner Management Certification.

Paula brings an enthusiastic and energetic spirit to everything she does, and she consistently puts that to work for her clients. She believes that life is about relationships and in truly representing the best interests of her clients with these important principles:

Paula is passionate about working for you to realize the shared goal to sell your home and/or purchase your next home with ease and as little stress as possible. 

Paula grew up on a family farm in Pennsylvania. In 1999, she came to Charlottesville as a financial services executive and even though her career took her all over the United States, she knew she would return and make Charlottesville her “forever” home. She had the joy of living in the city of Richmond, VA in a second home and discovering the wonder of the city and surrounding area. 

Paula has a deep appreciation for all that makes the central Virginia area so unique. She enjoys being in nature while hiking and kayaking as well as feasting on our bounty of food and libations from local farms and purveyors of fine Virginia products.

A crucial part of Paula's life is giving back to the community through volunteering, sponsorships of events and ongoing support of the UVA Children's Hospital. Paula serves on the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville. 

In 2019, after her first year as a REALTOR®, Paula was recognized for her success being nominated by her clients, colleagues and friends and placing 3rd in the Best of C-VILLE REALTOR® category. Since then, her practice has grown and thrived.
