There were so many things that went right with our purchase. All, in fact. My husband and I were delighted with Lanya Androlewicz. We know, in this market, that without her level of commitment, expertise, competence, and awareness, we'd never have landed the house we bought. In fact, in just the short time we'd been working with her, when this house came up on the MLS midday, she immediately booked a showing for us, hoping we'd be available, because she had paid such close attention to our preferences that she knew it would likely be a hit. We had asked her to book w/o contacting us if something like this happened, and she was on top of it all. And we did end up putting in a bid and getting chosen.. Initially, we began with another agent, After meeting with that agent and seeing only one house, we knew she wasn't a good fit for us. We are relatively experienced home buyers/sellers, and we know what to look for in an agent. Lanya is, by far, the best agent we've worked with in the 30 years we've been buying and selling our personal homes. She pays close attention to who we are, what we are or not attracted to in a house, compiles all this info in her head, and listens. She really listens. She helped us stretch our boundaries, so we wouldn't miss anything, but when we had distinct yes's or no's, she listened there as well. I believe listening is one of Lanya's best qualities, and then not offering her own preferences, never pressuring us subtly in any way. This is a very unique quality, and one that is particularly valuable in a real estate agent representing the buyer. However, when selling, it's good to have a second opinion on staging, for example, and I know Lanya would excel there as well. Moving on from her exceptional home-finding and attention-to-what-we-want skills, she was highly organized and early with all the documents required in the business aspects of buying. She was quick to respond to our questions via phone, email, or texting. I felt certain that all would go well with escrow because of Lanya, which it did. She went out of her way to do everything for us. The minute I had a question, she found the answer. She was so attentive, I knew she'd do all footwork that we might miss as first-time home buyers in New Mexico. We felt deeply reassured with Lanya looking out for us, and all went well, continues to go well. Lanya was a delight to work with, an absolute delight! She's so positive, personable, lively, aware, and so fun to be around. She's kind and generous in so many ways. She has made our transition from out of state to New Mexico so much easier. Prior to meeting her, we were a little lost, but Lanya grounded us with her vast knowledge of the city and its neighborhoods, which gave us clear direction.
