Last fall, we purchased our "forever home" with Janet's help. Not only did she show us dozens of homes over several months, once we finally found the right home, she negotiated a great price and helped us navigate buying a home very close to homes impacted by the Marshall Fire. Janet represented us in connection with our purchase of a house in Louisville 13 years ago and when we decided to sell that house we considered no one else. With respect to that sale in a topsy-turvy market she was amazing and went by far the extra mile with respect to staging, updates, repairs etc. At times she is like a general contractor and has a stable of handymen, painters, repair folks that she has worked with for years and who were more or less made instantly available to us, a huge help. She recommended various repairs and updates before we put the house on the market which I think ultimately led to us receiving a fair sales price that we were looking to achieve. During the run up to putting our house on the market, Janet conducted a thorough market analysis that turned out to be darn near correct with respect to what we could count on for a sale price. She was and is virtually always available to answer any questions and at times acted a sales therapist to ease our minds about the sale. She has an acute financial sense and is very attuned to the market conditions. During this time we were building a new house and she reviewed those plans and made suggestions to them which went above and beyond her direct charge of getting our home sold. Overtime I have to say that Janet has become a family friend and confidant--much more than just a real estate agent. In short, we cannot recommend Janet highly enough. HIre her.
