I have been involved in several home sales and have never encountered an agent with the drive, tenacity, thoroughness, and follow through shown by Wendy Webber. To start with, the home was a unique property with a lot of specific needs. Wendy did great work in researching the value of the Chestnut Hill home and made several important suggestions in preparing the house for potential buyers. Wendy sorted through a large pool of interested buyers with varying priorities/ timelines. She was hands on in sharing information with other realtors and in interacting with buyers and/or their agents. She was present at showings and responsive to questions and concerns. She was pleasant and firm in dealing with interested parties and remained vigilant in negotiations around contingencies and closing timelines. Ms. Webber kept a constant vigil. She provided advice regarding pre-sale needs and spoke with and met the cleaners, movers, and landscapers retained to facilitate the move out. She arranged for a contractor to upgrade the smoke detector system and met with the Brookline Fire Department at its inspection. She contacted town utility offices relative to permits and final payments. Wendy communicated well with our closing attorney and was always responsive to his inquiries and requests. She communicated with us well and shared information in a clear and coherent manner. The efforts that this lady made in selling our home went far above what I knew as the typical role of a realtor. This was a challenging property/sale and Wendy showed amazing fortitude.
