About Jesse

Ask Jesse McCrery why the Brunswick Beaches are the best place to live, and he’ll give you a hundred reasons why. Raised in southern North Carolina, Jesse has always had a passion for the coastal lifestyle. Growing up in a seaside community taught him to appreciate everything that makes Coastal North Carolina so special — the people, the surf, and the sense of community that defines life by the ocean.

Before launching his real estate career, Jesse spent years building businesses and relationships in Ocean Isle Beach. A five-time East Coast Champion, he turned his passion for the ocean into JM Surfboards, a custom handmade surfboard brand. His creative eye and hands-on experience also extend to the construction industry, where he worked as a custom finish carpenter for a respected area builder.

In 2011, Jesse founded OIB Surf and Java, a retail and coffee shop that quickly became a local favorite. Jesse sold the business in 2016 and it continues to be an OIB staple. His success in entrepreneurship and craftsmanship naturally led him to real estate — a field that combines his love for people, design, and the coastal lifestyle.

Since earning his real estate license in 2017, Jesse has built a strong reputation across Brunswick County for his authenticity, attention to detail, and deep local knowledge. He recently achieved the highest canal home sale and the highest overall residential sale in Ocean Isle Beach history— accomplishments that reflect his dedication to delivering results for his clients.

Married to his wife, Callie since 2012, Jesse is the proud father of two children, Lake and Archie. When he’s not helping clients find their perfect piece of paradise, you can find him surfing, exploring the coast, or spending time with his family.
