About Bent

I am Bent Danholm, a Broker / Owner specializing in luxury residential real estate in Orlando and throughout Central Florida.

I began my real estate career more than 30 years ago in Denmark. Since then, I have worked across different markets, ownership structures, and economic cycles. Today, I am the co-owner of three real estate brokerages—two in Florida and one in England—two of which I also co-founded. Collectively, the brokerages handle nearly 800 real estate transactions each year.

That experience has shaped the way I approach real estate. A successful transaction is rarely determined by one decision. Pricing, preparation, positioning, marketing, communication, and negotiation must work together. My role is to help clients understand those factors clearly and make decisions based on market reality rather than assumptions.

When I represent a seller, I begin by identifying the buyers most likely to recognize and pay for the property’s specific value.

That analysis may include geography, financial capacity, household structure, occupation, interests, lifestyle priorities, and the likely reason for purchasing. Once we understand the likely buyer, we can tailor the property’s presentation, messaging, advertising, and direct outreach to that audience.

This is the foundation of my target-marketing approach. It allows us to reach qualified prospects through digital advertising, search, social media, property websites, email, direct mail, and carefully selected databases.

It is not about creating more exposure for its own sake. It is about placing the right property in front of the right audience with a message that gives them a reason to respond.

Advisory Representation

I advise sellers on the decisions that affect their leverage: preparation, pricing, presentation, market positioning, buyer feedback, and negotiation strategy. I am direct when the market requires a change because protecting the client’s outcome is more important than preserving an assumption.

For buyers, I use the same analytical approach in reverse. In addition to evaluating properties already on the market, I can identify relevant neighborhoods, homeowner profiles, and potential off-market opportunities that align with the buyer’s objectives
