About Kathleen

Kathleen is one of Portland’s top producing brokers. Kathleen began her real estate career as a licensed broker in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia before moving to Portland in 1997. In 2007 she founded O’Donnell Group Realty. In 2022 she joined REALM. In 2023 Kathleen has put her succession plan into place by partnering with her oldest daughter and Guild Member, Caitlin Michael Riley. Kathleen and Caitlin are also members or REALM-Global.

In addition to holding a Principal Broker’s License, Kathleen is a Diamond Platinum Member and Past President of The Masters Circle (formerly The Million Dollar Club). She also served as a Director of the Portland Metropolitan Assoc. of Realtors. She holds industry certifications as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (Guild Elite), a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and an E-PRO.  Kathleen was also chosen by Portland Monthly Magazine as a Five Star Real Estate Agent in 2011 through 2024 and Pearl District Broker of the Year in 2017.

After being raised all over the country and in Europe, Kathleen loves to travel. She is an avid road biker and enjoys raising funds for charity by participating in long distance bicycle rides throughout the US. As a cancer survivor, she is also active as a fundraiser for The Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health Sciences University.
