I really can't say enough great things about Rocky. My husband and I (first time home buyers, using a VA Loan) didn't know where to begin when a friend suggested we call Rocky. I am so glad we did because she is simply the whole package. She is attentive, respectful, honest, practical, and most of all caring. We always felt like we were in good hands. She was honest about neighborhoods; suggested areas we never thought to look, and was also very honest about where to avoid. I never felt like she was "all about the sale."We learned a lot as first time home buyers from our experience, but most of our realization came through Rocky. If you have ever used a VA Loan you know that they can be picky but Rocky went above and beyond and jumped through hoops to satisfy the VA approver once we found the house we wanted. She really made this convoluted and overbearing process a walk in the park. It's also thanks to Rocky's recommendation that we found an amazing lender who gave us the absolute best rate we came across and was, above all, trustworthy (we had been previously dealt with someone who was dishonest and unethical.) We will be forever grateful to Rocky for helping us find our first home. She is an AMAZING real estate agent, and we can confidently say that we would never have found our first home without her, and our offer would never have been accepted without her go-getter attitude and immense efforts on our behalf. We bought our home in 2011 and to this day, whenever we have any questions, Rocky has always made herself available to help us out. My husband and I have recommended her a number of times and 3 close friends have happily found homes with her assistance. We will definitely work with her for any future real estate purchase/sale. Rocky didn't just sell us our first house, she coached us into a house that was a perfect fit. My, then girlfriend, and i were both stereotypical first time home buyers when we met Rocky. About Rocky

I was born and raised on theChesapeake Bay in Maryland and grew up in the residential real estate business.Literally. My childhood home doubled as my parents’ real estate office. Mysister Michele, a real estate broker on the East Coast, likes to tell clientsthat we were conceived in a real estate office. While that statement isactually true, I do worry that people could get the wrong impression from thatbit of information. Both my parents were real estate developers and my twosisters and brother have all had their licenses. The family real estatebusiness, M.E. Rockhill, Inc., established in the 1930’s is still in LongBeach, Maryland.

Moving to California after graduatingfrom Trinity College in Washington, D.C., I worked in commercial real estate andproperty management. In 1986 I left Los Angeles for San Diego to manage, lease,and oversee remodeling and construction in a 500,000 square foot high rise Downtown.Eventually succumbing to the family residential real estate business in myblood, I placed my license with Scott & Quinn in Mission Hills.

I live in Point Loma with my son,when he is home from Boston where he attends Northeastern and works for the RedSox. I spent many years on the boards of Pt. Loma Little League and La JollaYouth and currently volunteer with women’s and children’s charities.

I love what I do. I don’t need tobe the biggest but I definitely want to be the best.
