About Matt

Matt has called Northern Colorado home for thepast 25 years. He graduated Loveland High School in 1999, and Colorado StateUniversity in 2003. While attending CSU, his passion for business,entrepreneurship, real estate and Spanish was ignited. He was presented withtwo amazing opportunities while at CSU: one was to study abroad in Spain, whichhe did his spring semester of 2002, the other was to work for a collegepainting company during his college years.

After graduating CSU in 2003, Matt married hiscollege sweetheart, Emily, in 2004, and they settled down in Northern Colorado.He quickly found out the corporate world was not for him when he was "letgo" from a local bank. With the last $100 he had to his name, he founded M& E Painting in March of 2005. Over the years, M & E Painting haspainted thousands of homes in Northern Colorado. M & E Painting has beenrecognized as a Top Small Workplace in the US by INC Magazine and WinningWorkplaces, and received the Torch Award for Ethics from the Northern ColoradoBetter Business Bureau.
