Melissa became a resident of Boca Grande in 2013, where she has visited since 1982 when her parents first moved there. Melissa is passionate about everything the area has to offer. She has been involved in the community for over 30 years, and always makes time to give back. She volunteers with the Johann Fust Library Foundation, Hospital Volunteers of Venice, and Venice Area Historical Society, and sits on the board of the Boca Grande Sea Turtle Association, where she is known for her extensive knowledge of turtle trivia. She was recently named Volunteer Coordinator at the Boca Grande Historical Society. 
 
Melissa was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After attending Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in sales and marketing. While there, she worked with some of the most successful and recognizable brands in the world including Bausch+Lomb, Kraft foods, Xerox, Colgate Palmolive, M&M Mars and Taco Bell. This exposure to the client service area of sales and marketing made her transition into real estate easy and natural, allowing her to fully utilize her extensive business and marketing skills.
 
She has earned the Resort and Second Home Property Specialist® (RSPS®) from the National Association of Realtors® is a member of the Institute for Luxury Marketing and has special training in marketing properties over $1,000,000. She also enjoys helping first time home buyers and investors reach their real estate goals.
