History

Laurie Moore-Moore, The Institute's founder and CEO, is a well known and respected speaker, consultant, and writer in the real estate industry.  She co-founded REAL Trends, a research and communications company serving the residential brokerage industry. In her many years in the industry, she has sold real estate, managed a large real estate office, and managed two divisions of one of the nation's largest brokerage firms.

Over the past decade, Laurie has helped establish luxury home training programs for franchise organizations including RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker, and Century 21.

In response to the growing need for training and certification in the luxury home market, Laurie founded The Institute as a resource for real estate professionals and consumers involved with upper-tier residential properties.

Laurie has trained more than 15,000 agents and brokers on the topic of upper-tier marketing, helping them become more successful in working with buyers and sellers in the luxury home market.

The first CLHMS training session was held in January 2003. Since then The Institute has trained over 8,000 real estate professionals on four continents.
